and respect for the environment.

TANAGRO, Forest area of TANAC, manages an area of ​​more than 52,000 hectares, developing and respecting the most diverse ecosystems.

All the products developed by the company are based on tannin, extracted from the bark of Black Acacia, that is, they come from renewable sources.

TANAC has approximately 25,000 hectares of planted forests and, together with all its industrial activities, has a positive Carbon Footprint, as verified in its Inventory of Greenhouse Gas Emissions, issued by the BVQI certifier, and in the development of its activities, the company sequesters 21 tons of C02e for each ton of C02e emitted.

The certifications obtained by the company prove the practice of responsible forest management, being economically viable, socially beneficial, and environmentally appropriate. The quality of the products and services of TANAC has international recognition, ratified by the total acceptance in the markets in which the company operates. With a Quality and Environmental Management System certified by the NBR ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and FSC® standards, the company maintains a constant concern with the improvement of its activities, aiming to control and minimise environmental impacts, continuously investing in technology and the qualification of its human resources.

TANAC is the largest producer of the Black Wattle tree (Acacia mearnsii De Wild) in the world and operates in the forestry and chemical industries, offering plant extracts, woodchips and pellets for multiple applications.
